On August 4, 2009, Cambridge in America and the University of Oxford North American Office co-hosted a Food for Thought Luncheon in New York City with best-selling author Sarah Dunant (alumna of Newnham College, Cambridge).  
 
Thirty (30) alumni and friends gathered to hear Sarah Dunant speak about her triptych of historical novels set during the Italian Renaissance:  The Birth of Venus (2004), In the Company of the Courtesan (2007), and Sacred Hearts (2009).
