Alison Davis

Ms. Alison Davis is managing partner of Fifth Era. She is an experienced corporate executive, public company board director, an active investor in growth companies and a best-selling author on the topics of technology and innovation. Ms. Davis is currently a non-executive director of Silicon Valley Bank (SIVB), Fiserv (FISV), Ooma (OOMA) and Collibra and until March this year, served for nine years on the board of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) where she chaired the Technology and Innovation Committee. She is the chairman of the Advisory Board for Blockchain Capital, and an advisor to Bitwise. Ms. Davis was previously the managing partner of Belvedere Capital. Prior to this, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock), a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company and A.T. Kearney. Ms. Davis has degrees from Cambridge University (MA/BA) and Stanford (MBA). She was born in Sheffield, England, and has lived for the last 25 years in the San Francisco Bay Area where she raised her family with her husband, Matthew C. Le Merle.
