
Andrew J. McLean
Mr. Andrew McLean is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at Lands’ End. In this role, McLean lends his extensive operational and strategic expertise to continue enhancing the Lands’ End customer experience, scale the business, and execute the company’s key strategic initiatives. He brings more than 25 years of retail experience to the brand, having led organizational growth for several Fortune 500 and start-up companies. McLean has an impressive track record in global brand delivery, international strategy, marketing, and customer experience.
Prior to joining Lands’ End, Andrew served as President, International at AEO, the parent company of American Eagle and Aerie. He joined AEO in 2016 and previously held the role of Executive Vice President - Chief Commercial Officer.
McLean began his career as a strategy consultant at A.T. Kearney before moving into senior leadership roles at prominent retailers, including Gap, Liz Claiborne, and Urban Outfitters. He currently serves as a Board Advisor to Windsor Fashions and Sarona Partners, supporting their strategic growth and organizational development. Beyond his professional work, Andrew is an active member of Duke University’s Parents Committee and has long been engaged with the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Human Ecology, where he has sponsored several initiatives and mentored numerous students. Having worked on both sides of the Atlantic, he brings a global perspective to both his professional and academic commitments.
McLean’s educational pedigree includes Wolfson College, Cambridge; Manchester University; and Harvard Business School. His achievements include an Honors Degree in Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. Andrew and his family divide their time between Madison, Wisconsin, and Damariscotta, Maine.
