India Phillips
India Phillips (Christ's College, 2003)

India Phillips is a seasoned leader in the auction world as a modern art specialist and the former Managing Director of Bonhams EMEA. A History of Art graduate from Christ’s College, Cambridge, she began her career in museums—including the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and the Musée d’Orsay in Paris—before transitioning to the auction industry as a Modern Art specialist at Christie’s London.

India has been instrumental in elevating the Impressionist & Modern Art department, spearheading major sales across the US, UK, and Europe, including the landmark Alan and Simone Hartman Collection. Renowned for her connoisseurship and trusted relationships with collectors, she brings together deep scholarly expertise and sharp commercial insight.

Simon Kelly
Simon Kelly (Jesus College, 1988)

Simon Kelly leads the Modern and Contemporary Art Department at the Saint Louis Art Museum. His most recent exhibition is 2024’s Matisse and the Sea, which examined, for the very first time, Matisse’s career-spanning fascination with the sea through a wide range of media: paintings, sculptures, textiles, ceramics, and paper cut-outs. Originally from England, Simon earned degrees from Cambridge and Oxford. As a curator, Simon has worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. He has written extensively on French painting and sculpture, including books on Monet, Matisse, Degas, and the Barbizon School artists.

William O'Reilly
