Cantab DC is delighted to invite you the Oxford-Cambridge Varsity Boat Race Viewing Party 2026. This year, the University of Oxford Alumni Network of Washington DC (OUSDC) has organized and cordially invited us to gather together to cheer on our respective teams. We will be heading to The Crystal City Sports Pub in Crystal City, VA. The event will be on Saturday, April 4, at 9am.
The Women's Boat Race starts at 2:21pm GMT (9:21am EST), followed by the Men's Race at 3:21 GMT (10:21am EST). So we recommend arriving around 9am so that you have time to get a drink and see both races.
This is an event that the The University of Cambridge Alumni Society has been invited to. It will be a low-key event where you can enjoy a great mix of alumni of all ages, degree programs, and life experiences, with lots to discuss in a friendly and easygoing environment as well as meet some Oxonians. Catch up with old friends and make new ones!

Newcomers Welcome: If you are new in DC or this is your first time at an alumni event, make sure to email cantabsocdc@gmail.com ahead of time and we'll see that you are greeted and introduced to folks on your arrival. The names of our Executive Council team can be found on our website (https://www.cantabdc.org/executive-council) so that you can recognize familiar faces day-of the event. Please do not hesitate to approach us and we will introduce you to the rest of the group!
